Palmer is a native of Camden, Alabama and a graduate of Knoxville College in Tennessee. He has a BS in Health / Hospital Administration, and a minor in Biology and Math. As an entrepreneur, he owns Williams Lawn Care Group, a landscaping company. Mr. Williams has a luxurious stage career. He now has performed in four of Tyler Perry's national touring productions. "I Don't Want to Do Wrong," "Madea's Big Happy Family," "The Marriage Counselor" and "Laugh to Keep from Crying." All were major hits.

His resounding performance in the latter two segue his current role on Tyler Perry's television shows, "Love Thy Neighbor" and "House of Payne" as Floyd. His vocal credits also include singing background for music sensations Keith Sweat, LSG, and Grammy award winner, Monica. Along with his vocal success, Palmer ventured into the theatre with his stage credit, "A Good Man Is Hard to Find"and the stage play he directed and co-wrote, "Where Have All the Good Men Gone?" Following that production, Palmer displayed his God-given talents by directing, writing, and starring in the hit, "Can A Woman Make A Man Lose His Mind?"> and "What A Man Wants, What A Woman Needs!" He was featured on Robert Townsend's, "Play House 22" on the BlackFamily Channel. Palmer Williams, Jr. is married and the proud father of four.
